South African Connections

The trip to South Africa entails some of the longest nonstop legs on the planet – 8,434 miles nonstop on Delta from Atlanta; 7,980 from New York Kennedy on South African Airways. And that’s it. If you’re going to fly to Johannesburg any other way it’s going to entail a stop, or–more likely–a change of planes in Europe.

If you’re doing business in southern or equatorial Africa, however, JNB is probably your best connection. Read about O.R. Tambo International Airport here.
